🌿 Investing in Our Teachers: AACI Attends the VTAEYC 2025 Conference

Each year, the team at Arlington Area Childcare, Inc. proudly attends the Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children (VTAEYC) annual conference—a statewide gathering dedicated to advancing excellence in early childhood education. This year, our entire staff joined hundreds of educators from across Vermont for several days of learning, collaboration, and inspiration.

At AACI, we believe that the best way to nurture children is to continually nurture our teachers. The VTAEYC Conference is a cornerstone of our professional development and team-building efforts, offering our staff the opportunity to deepen their knowledge, explore new teaching strategies, and connect with others who share the same passion for early learning.

From workshops on Conscious Discipline and trauma-informed care to sessions on inclusive classrooms, nature-based play, and early literacy, our teachers came away energized and equipped with fresh ideas to bring back to the classroom. Beyond the learning, the conference also gives us valuable time together outside of the center—to reflect, laugh, and strengthen the bonds that make our team so special.
